Lemon garlic shrimp with sugar snap peas:
– 2 lbs. uncooked deveined shrimp
– 1 lb. sugar snap peas
– 2 teaspoons olive oil
– 1 cup water
– 9 garlic cloves minced
– 1/4 cup chopped green onions
– 1/2 cup lemon juice
– 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 teaspoon basil
– 1 teaspoon ground ginger
Garnish:
– Sesame seeds
– Chopped green onions
On the stove, heat the oil in a large pan on medium heat. Sauté the onions and garlic, and add in the shrimp. While the shrimp are cooking, heat another pan on medium heat and cook the sugar snap peas in water for about 15 minutes. Allow the shrimp to cook and flip each piece halfway to fully cook. Add the sugar snap peas to the shrimp and add all seasoning and lemon juice. Mix together and allow to simmer for 5 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
